Melsungen (Germany). The B. Braun Avitum AG sponsored the EDTNA/ERCA in the implementation of helpful education documents for dialysis patients to achieve the best standard of treatment and support for patients and their families around the world. The EDTNA/ERCA is a multidisciplinary organization of nurses, technicians, social workers, dieticians, unit managers, transplant coordinators, and any other professionals working with renal patients. The documents written and compiled by EDTNA/ERCA, answer important questions for patients with renal failure and cover interesting issues such as healthy lifestyle, common medicines and physical exercises. These multilingual patient documents, which will be available in English, Russian and Spanish for now, constitute a huge support for renal nurses as well.
The documents are available for downloading at the official B. Braun Avitum website www.bbraun-dialysis.com under the section dialysis information and at the EDTNA/ERCA website www.edtnaerca.org
