Make diversity visible
When the winners of the German Diversity Challenge were named in Berlin on June 27, 2019, the six young B. Braun employees could hardly believe it: they took 2nd place in the Large Companies category with their 4Diversity initiative. They won, behind a team from Daimler AG and in front of a team from a large bank. The 4Diversity initiative has launched a series of actions that build on each other over several months. From poster campaigns to highlight diversity and promote tolerance, to a digital diversity calendar, to interviews, creative workshops, and a diversity competition—the topic was introduced to the company in various ways at multiple B. Braun locations.
„We wanted to give more space to the topic of diversity and create awareness and undertanding.“
Stronger international orientation
While it was initially limited to Germany, an international team has now been brought together to continue working on issues relating to diversity and to develop new approaches. This initiative is currently working on a holistic framework that focuses on anti-discrimination, awareness-raising and insightful workshop concepts. The goal is clear: to raise diversity awareness and to make the entrepreneurial strength of diversity visible at all 64 B. Braun locations.
